‘I think sequels are bad because most of the people working on it are interns. I’m not sure if it’s true, but the idea that Disney animator veterans did not work on the project eases me.’

Well, they’re made by DisneyToon Studios, and to paraphrase the Nostalgia Chick, as they are made me TV people, they have the pacing, stakes, and depth of TV shows, and mediocre ones at that. They are made for profits, not for art or story.

Well, the sequels are animated competently; the animation isn’t as pain-stalking-ly worked on like the originals, but the animation isn’t bad by any means.

Especially on the Clean-Up they tend to have less experienced people, which is why the characters never seem to be drawn “on-model” the same way they were in their original films.
