“The TV series version of Cruella de Vil is very underrated. Cruella is my favorite Disney villain not for being pure evil, which she isn’t, but for being a person. The character development and complexity she got in the series made her one of Disney’s few antagonists to get a happy ending (of sorts, nothing really ends) in a canon. The cartoon is silly, but it can be emotional for me because of Cruella. I identify with this version of her the most.”
