"Goofy holds a very soft spot in my heart. I’m not the most coordinated or graceful person on Earth and to see Goofy stumble and still be loved by millions makes me feel better. But last time I went to Disneyland and tried to take a picture with him, he completely ignored my hug and tried to rush the picture so that he could spend 3 MINUTES with the next kid. Face characters like that that think adults are less important than kids really get on my nerves and personally, shouldn’t be hired."
"Disneyland, since the beginning of this year, has been my motivation and my escape from recent stress. I’ve fallen in love with getting to know all the wonderful cast members and characters - they make me feel so at home when I come back to visit them. Despite everything I have to worry about, day-dreaming of the looks on their faces when I show them the new drawings and gifts I’ve made for them helps me to end each day with a smile. I wish I knew how to express to them that they are my heroes."
"When i was younger most of my friends had crushes on Disney princes, but my crush was actually Max from A Goofy Movie. Even though I dont have a crush on him I still see myself finding qualities in his personality that I truely enjoy from A Goofy Movie and from An Extremely Goofy Movie."
"I have been single for the longest time now, and I just want to have a boyfriend. The only thing that has keep me waiting is An Extremely Goofy Movie. Sylvia and Goofy met later in their years. I am more patient because of it and thinking of meeting my Goofy keeps me positive"
“Not many people understand why I love Goofy. love him for everything he is, his smile, his personality, the laughter he brings, his high spirits, the way that he will get himself into chaos and then manages to smile no matter what. My best memories of the college program all have Goofy in them. And for him to always be around for a hug, it means the world. Call me emotional, but I miss him.”
"When I went to Disneyland for the first time when I was a little three-year old, I was most excited to meet all the characters! But when we saw big, tall Goofy on Main Street, I got scared and ran into the stroller to hide. For some reason, Goofy thought this was funny, and he opened up the cover, even though I was screaming and crying, and got right into my face. For a little girl, that was traumatizing. Ever since, I have always been scared of Goofy, even on merch"
